Because of his job, Ed traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad.

He has been in this area for 35 years. Ed had a great love of fishing and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Roland (Jo), Tommy, and William (Teddy).

Ed is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Michael (Beth), Donna (Kevin), Jason, Jenny, John, and Jeremy; two grandchildren; one sister, Ann McGhee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ed lived in West Cohasset, Minnesota. He passed away in Deer River Health Care Center in Deer River, Minnesota and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery at Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Section 30, Plot 1381)
