Fred married Mary Castellano in June, 1972.
He was a salesman for Ed Phillips and Sons, and had worked in the Danube Mine.
Fred was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and a former member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Coleraine, Minnesota. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the Degree Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; a stepdaughter, Michelle; and a stepgrandson, Erik.
Fred is survived by a sister, Mary (Ralph) Conlee; a brother, Pete (Bev) DeCenzo; stepdaughters, Cheryl (Walt) Fields and Debra Castellano; several nieces, nephews, and stepgrandchildren.
Fred died in the Grand Rapids Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota (Block 151).
