As a young boy, Orrin worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps and later for the railroad.
Following his discharge, he worked for Itasca County Road and Bridge for 27 years and, also, did handiwork for many different people. He worked for Northwest L.P. Gas in Grand Rapids, Minnesota up until his retirement. Orrin liked to fish and play cribbage and worked on recycling scrap. He also like to go to the casino and spend time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his daughters, Echo (Dave) Beach, Cynthia Hagen, Lisa (Russ) Hemphill, Angela (Ralph) Scovel; son, Paul (Golda); special friend Audrey Ross; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Ilene; his parents; six brothers, Tony, Archie, Garret, Roy, Cliff and Matthew; and two sisters, Alida Hagen and Revona Mitchell.
Buried in Harris Township at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 3.2.3.5)
