On June 28, 1953, Bill was united in marriage to Juanita Waugh. They moved to the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area in 1954 and Bill worked in the iron ore mines for several years. In the early 1960s, he opened Bill's Greenhouse in Blackberry Township, which he owned and operated until his death. He loved collecting stamps and working in his greenhouse.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill is survived by his wife, Juanita; six daughters, Carol (Victor) Penrosa, Nancy Goff (Ed Rumbaugh), Mary, Kathy (Michael) Harmon; Patricia (John) Rexzetylo, Rebecca (James) Wilkins; one son, Ron (Cheryl); one sister, Bonnie Weaver; one brother, Daniel; and twelve grandchildren
Bill died at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota and is buried in Hazelwood Cemetery at Blackberry Township, Itasca County, Minnesota.
