Casper had been an area resident since 1923 after serving in the United States Army during the first World War.
He had been employed at the Danube Mine during his working years.
Surviving relatives include three sisters, Mrs. Magdalina Karls, Mrs. Henry Meekken, and Miss Cecelia Frings; and three brothers, Anton, Joseph and John.
Casper died in the St. Cloud Veteran's Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-G-12-2-8)
